He was a devoted family man, enjoyed a couple of nights in the Sun Inn pub, enjoyed his work,
enjoyed watching sports and just generally being lazy! He had been with partner Julie for 22 years
and had 3 daughters Lisa 19, Jade 18 and Amber (Pud) 13.
He is missed and loved every second of every day and will be forever in our hearts!

Just another update for you... Reece has been weighted twice since ive been on here, the first time he had gone up to 9lb 2oz and now after a week the fat lil monkey is now 9lb 13oz!! I fink hes having secret takeaways hes puttin on that much lol!! Hes like a different child, and talk abowt giving you a dead arm!! Goin back to York on the 19th Dec, cant wait, just a shame you and Barney wont be there!! Well im sure you will be but just not in person!! Hope Barney had a lovely birthday (his first one in heaven) was thinking about him!! Right will get going, housework and shopping to be done, domestic goddess or what haha!! Hello again!!
Told you i would come back and leave an update soon!! Not much to report really.
Reece is 7weeks old now, god its flown by!! Hes doing really well, becoming a little greedy monkey now, its all good though, hes finally starting to fill owt, he will soon be a chunky little monkey... He smiles properly now and its well cute, hes also trying to talk to us (well gurgling lol).
You would be so proud hes a little darling... and i really hope your with us and watching over us and keeping Reece safe, dont want you missing out on anything!!
Just had Mum and Amber down for the weekend, i love seeing them, miss them all like mad!! Going back to York for a few days next month so hopefully everyone else will get to meet your gorgeous Grandson then!!
Hope Barneys being a good boy for you, Mum says its real weird without him there, can imagine, he was part of the furniture haha!!
Anyway i will get going and report back shortly, oh and got health visitor coming to see Reece on thursday so hopefully she will weigh him again, he was back up to his birth weight last time, and hes definetly put more on, talk about giving you a dead arm.. Will leave you a message and let you know once she has been!!

Hello Dad!
Im really sorry i havent been on here in ages, as youve probably been watching over us you will know what a hard time we had with Reece when he was born. You can tell hes a Read, he a proper little fighter, just like his grandad!! You would be so proud of him, he is absolutely gorgeous! Dont you worry i will make sure he knows all about his special grandad, dont want him missing out on knowing what you were like and how much you would of loved him. I cant believe its been 2years since we last saw you, how time flies but it feels like forever. Please watch over Reece for me and keep him safe, cant be having him putting me through anything else, dont think i could cope!! As you will be aware he is alot better now and coming along nicely, hes a little smiler.. Had mum come and stay with us last week, was lovely spending time with her and lovely to see her with her grandson!! Had Lisa this weekend aswell, you move away and you still cant get rid of the buggers haha, im only joking, i love seeing all 3 of them, miss em lots! I will get going now, nearly Reeces feed time!! Will be back on very shortly to update you on Reece's progress!! Hope Barneys joined you up there, it broke my heart letting him go but it was for the best. A big kiss for you both! hi hun sorry ive not bin on 4 awhile had a really worryin time with reece poor little man had 2 hav open heart surgery at 2 days old but hes doin really well right now but im sure you already know this coz im sure your watchin over him 4 us i got my 1st cuddles at the wkend i gave him a big bear hug from you hes 4wks old today you would be so so proud of him sleep tight my love missin you as always xxxx

hey dad :) hope your okaa im really good :) jade moves sunday wuhoo lol na il miss her :) i got an A in my English coursework 1 mark off an A* which annoyed me but its still good i suppose :). Im gunna be an auntie in 6 weeks - lol i had to re-type that cos i had a blonde moment and i put Im gunna be an auntie or an uncle in 6 weeks depending on what she has haha oh dear lol. In year 10 when I go back only this year and another one left wuhoo :D i chose my options i chose - french, spanish, history and textiles :).
I helped mum out the other saturday at her work her area manager person said i could go in and help her so i did i got ther at 10 which shocked mum cos she didnt expect me tu be up haha i was on the till all day it wos really good :) and she got me some mini pink straightners and some eyeshadow for helping :D and when it wos 5 minutes till closing she said ah only 5 minutes to go then i went, i could do another seven hours haha but im glad i didnt lol cos i slept in till 12 the next day and when mum told grandad i said i could do seven more hours he laughed for ages lol.
Right il leave you to it now cos no doubt il be boring you oh and dont worry when i get ash on my own on saturday il tell him he best look after Jade or he'll have me to deal with :)

Heya Fathead, as ur aware i move on Sunday!! Gunna miss mum and the ova 2 loads & loads. I wish u was eya 2 look after them for me. Mums gunna b wel busy coz dem 2 r lazy lil gits. No cleaning or cooking will get done til mums ome frm wrk. Fink u need ta do summat bowt that one lol, just whisper in der ears n scare them into doing sumfing haha...
